Terms of service

The plain-English terms that apply to quotes, bookings and ceramic tint installs booked through this site.

What these terms cover

—Black Marlin Appearance Co. ("we", "us") provides automotive ceramic window tint installation in Corpus Christi, Port Aransas and surrounding areas. These terms apply to quotes, bookings and services arranged through this website.
—Submitting a quote request or booking an appointment means you accept these terms.

—Prices listed on our pricing page are our published rates for ceramic film packages. Large SUV / 3-row pricing starts at the listed price and may be higher depending on the vehicle.
—Old tint removal is priced for standard film removal. Heavily deteriorated film — especially on defroster lines — is checked in person before we quote or begin.
—Mobile installs to Port Aransas, past Flour Bluff or Padre Island include an additional travel fee of $35–$50.

—Booking requires a deposit of 25% of the published package price, paid online. The deposit is applied to your service total — it is not an extra fee.
—The remaining balance is due when your installation is complete.
—Payments are processed by our payment provider. We never see or store your full card details.

—Your deposit is fully refundable if you cancel at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment.
—Cancellations made less than 48 hours ahead, missed appointments, and rescheduling inside the 48-hour window are not refunded.
—If we have to move your appointment, your deposit moves with it — or is refunded in full, your choice.

—Mobile installation requires an enclosed garage at your address — wind, dust and coastal sand ruin film during install. No garage means drop-off instead.
—Drop-off is at our South Side Corpus Christi bay, off SPID behind the Mitsubishi dealership. The exact address is provided after booking. There is no customer waiting area, so please arrange a ride and pick the vehicle up when it's ready.
—Typical turnaround: 30 minutes to 1 hour for front roll-ups only, 2 to 3 hours for a full vehicle, and longer when removal and re-install are involved.

—Film shades we install meet Texas law: a 25% minimum on front side windows, any shade on rear sides and back glass, and clear/light ceramic options for windshields.
—Choosing a shade that isn't street-legal for your state is your responsibility if you're registering the vehicle outside Texas.

—Our nano-ceramic film is backed against peeling, bubbling, delamination and purple discoloration for as long as you own the vehicle.
—The warranty assumes normal care — no ammonia-based cleaners, no abrasive pads, and windows kept rolled up while the adhesive cures. See our aftercare guide for the full care instructions.

—We treat every vehicle like our own, but we aren't responsible for pre-existing damage (scratches, cracked glass, faulty seals or electrical issues) that tint installation may reveal or that isn't caused by our work.
—Our total liability for any service is limited to the amount you paid for that service.
—We may update these terms; the version posted here applies to each booking made after it's posted.
