Your new tint
Ceramic tint aftercare
Follow these steps so your film cures clean and stays covered by your lifetime warranty.
01
Days 1–5: Let it cure
- —Keep all tinted windows rolled up for 3 to 5 full days.
- —Don't touch the window switches — rolling down early can peel the bottom edge and voids the warranty.
- —Park in the sun when you can. Texas heat speeds up curing.
02
Weeks 1–2: What's normal
- —A faint milky haze or small water pockets are normal while moisture evaporates through the film.
- —Don't press, poke or push on bubbles — they flatten out on their own, usually within 1 to 2 weeks in coastal humidity.
- —Edges near the dotted black border and defroster lines can look slightly lighter. That's normal on modern glass.
03
Long-term: Cleaning & care
- —Wait at least 5 days before cleaning the inside of the glass.
- —Use an ammonia-free, tint-safe cleaner (like Invisible Glass) or warm water with a drop of baby shampoo. Never blue Windex or household cleaners.
- —Wipe with a clean microfiber towel only — no paper towels, sponges or scrub pads.
- —Guide your seatbelt back so the metal buckle doesn't snap against the glass.
